Student publications win 14 awards from Indiana Collegiate Press Association
Indiana State University students from the Indiana Statesman and The Sycamore yearbook won 14 awards in the 2016 Indiana Collegiate Press Association competition.
 
Indiana State students win 20 awards in statewide competition
Indiana State University students won 20 awards through the Indiana Collegiate Press Association (ICPA) for work published in the Indiana Statesman newspaper and The Sycamore yearbook.
 
Statesman editor honored by national association
Indiana State University student Carey Ford, editor in chief at the Indiana Statesman student newspaper, is one of five national winners of a scholarship from the Education Fund of the American Copy Editors Society.
 
Indiana State students win 17 awards from Indiana Collegiate Press Association
Indiana State University students from the Indiana Statesman and The Sycamore yearbook won 17 awards in the annual Indiana Collegiate Press Association competition."I'm thrilled with the Indiana Statesman's showing in this year's ICPA competition," said Martha Milner, director of student publications. "The Statesman is in the Newspaper 1 category for newspapers that print three or more times each week. This category includes some of the best student newspapers in not only the state, but in the nation."
