This Valentine’s Day weekend, Feb. 14 and 15, Moon Lite Drive-In Theater in Terre Haute is hosting a movie date night.

“Bring your sweetie to this free admission Romantic Double Feature,” reads the Moon Lite Drive-In’s Facebook page.

This free feature is possible thanks to Dave’s Heating and Cooling and Honey Creek Collision.

To start off the romantic night on Valentine’s Day, the first movie being shown is “The Notebook” at 6:45 p.m. Following this film will be “The Wedding Singer” at 9 p.m.

The gates will open at 5:45 p.m. on both Friday and Saturday night.

There are some helpful tips to remember while visiting the Moon Lite Drive-In Theater.

In order to be able to hear the audio from the movies, tune your radio into WKJB 101.5 on your FM dial.

Be sure to bring a portable radio if you’re unable to use your car stereo.

The Drive-In also serves great food that is perfect for this weekend’s date night.

“Come early and have supper here! We have hot popcorn, tasty hamburgers, hot dogs, corn dogs, pizzas, nachos, pretzels, candy, and cold treats too!” according to the Moon Lite Drive-In’s Facebook page.

It’s important to remember that Moon Lite does not accept Visa, MasterCard or Discover cards. Be sure to bring cash for the concessions!

Moon Lite Drive-In is located at 5056 N Lafayette Ave. in Terre Haute, IN.

“There’s really no better way to spend Valentine’s Day than watching cheesy, romantic movies. Moon Lite is always a fun experience when I go and I’m excited to go there this Valentine’s Day weekend,” said Terre Haute native and ISU sophomore Elizabeth Lowery.
