New Climbing Café Comes to Terre Haute

Terre Haute’s newest attraction, the Climbing Café opens Saturday September 30.

The Climbing Cafe offers 4,000 square feet of rock-climbing surface along with several other amenities.

Partnering with Sycamore engineering, the Climbing Cafe was constructed with bouldering and technical training walls to assist in developing eye-hand coordination, balance, strength and conditioning.

With dedicated and skilled staff members the Climbing Cafe also provides other activities including yoga, crossFit, fitness workshops, and more.

Not only does the facility house physical activities for the family, they also serve as a food and entertainment venue. Guests of all ages also enjoy music, free Wi-Fi, charging stations, coffee, soda and fresh smoothies, and more all under one roof.

Sam Morgan takes pride in owning the only rock-climbing gym within an 80-mile radius.

“I think it’s gonna give people the opportunity to spend their money on things to do versus stuff,” Morgan tells local news station, WTWO TV.

The Climbing Cafe is located in the Top Guns comlex at 5070 South 7th Street, Terre Haute, Indiana. For gym hours and membership information visit climbingcafe.com.
