On Dec. 15 at 5 p.m. in Bankers Life Fieldhouse, Indianapolis comes a special event with Indiana State University and the Indiana Pacers.

It is a special themed “Indiana State” night when the Pacers host the Charlotte Hornets for an Eastern Conference matchup. Students, alumni, faculty, staff and fans of Indiana State University will be in attendance to support the Pacers and represent their school at a major pro athletic event.

This is a great opportunity to give extra exposure of Indiana State University to a large audience tuning into some Pacers action as well as giving a great chance for the Indiana State community, both present and past, to come together and celebrate the school while watching Indiana’s favorite basketball team.

The Pacers (13-7) are off to a nice start so far this season, even without All-Star guard Victor Oladipo, who is currently rehabbing an injury and looks to come back sometime before the All-Star break in February. The Pacers are sixth in the Eastern Conference standings out 14 other professional teams.

In Oladipo’s absence, newly-signed guard Malcom Brogdon has led the way leading the team with 19.4 points per game and 8.0 assists per game.

Power forward Domantas Sabonis is also having a career year to date, becoming a double-double machine with 18.4 points per game and 13.1 rebounds per game.

Outside of Brogdon, other key signings have boosted the scoring of this Pacers roster with excellent play from forward T.J. Warren (17.8 points per game) and Jeremy Lamb (16.9 points per game).

The Pacers are hot at the moment, winning six of their last seven, and 10 of their last 13 as they look to move up in the Eastern Conference playoff standings headed into December. The Pacers look for a win against the Hornets (8-14), who have lost seven of their last ten.

If you buy a ticket online at pacers.com/IndianaStateNight, you will receive a New Era co-branded hat featuring both the Indiana Pacers and Indiana State University.

In regards to pricing for tickets at the moment, lower-level sideline seats are being sold for roughly $119.00, lower-level baseline or corner seats for $69.00, mid-level baseline or Kreig DeVault Club Corner seats for $59.00, and balcony seats are available for $29.00.

Act soon on these deals as the ISU community will surely be eager to buy tickets to get these limited hats and have the opportunity to represent the school in front an NBA fanbase.

The doors open for the game at 4 p.m., although times are subject to change as we move closer to the date. Bankers Life Fieldhouse is located in downtown Indianapolis at 125 S. Pennsylvania Street.
