The Indiana State men’s basketball team continues to struggle on the road as they fell to the Valparaiso Crusaders 86-77 Saturday.
The ISU Women’s basketball team lost two road games over the weekend. On Friday, ISU lost to Drake University, 105-65. Following that loss, ISU traveled to Cedar Falls, Iowa Sunday to play against Northern Iowa. UNI took care of business, winning 73-43. Indiana State dropped to 2-16 with a 0-6 MVC on the season.

On Friday, the Indiana State women’s basketball team will head to Des Moines, Iowa to face the Drake Bulldogs.
On Dec. 7, the Indiana State Women’s basketball team faced the Murray State Racers on the road.
The Indiana State men’s basketball team went into winter break enjoying a four-game win streak.
On Friday, the Indiana State track and field team travels to Illinois State University in Normal, Illinois to compete in the Coughlan-Malloy Cup. This marks the 16th annual meet for the Coughlan-Malloy cup, which is a dual meet marking the inter-Missouri Valley Conference rivalry between the Trees and the Redbirds of Illinois State. Each year the meet alternates between being hosted in Terre Haute and in Normal.
The Indiana State swimming and diving team will stay home this weekend as they look to compete against Eastern Illinois University for Senior Night.
The ISU women’s basketball team had their first home game of the season against the Marshall Thundering Herd. Indiana State lost, 72-60 as a late run by Marshall in the fourth quarter sealed road victory. The Sycamores fall to 2-6 and in the amidst of a four-game losing streak. Marshall improves to 5-3 on the season. Next up, ISU will travel to Murray State to face the Racers in another road game.
On Dec. 15 at 5 p.m. in Bankers Life Fieldhouse, Indianapolis comes a special event with Indiana State University and the Indiana Pacers.
It is time for track season for the Indiana State Sycamores. The Sycamores open up their season this Saturday for a home meet before heading off for winter break. The sprinters, hurdlers, jumpers and throwers have all been hard at work since August, while the distance squad has been in season with cross country. They all come together as Sycamores on Saturday as one team united in a pursuit of a conference championship in the Missouri Valley Conference.
The Indiana State men’s basketball team improved to an even 4-4 record last night after defeating North Dakota State University at the Hulman Center 71-60. With this win marks ISU basketball program’s 1,500th win in program history. The Sycamores started the season rough as they went 0-4 before seeing their first win in the Bahamas.
After a well needed break from academics, the Indiana State men’s basketball team kept busy with four games in nine days. This stretch was huge for the Sycamores, winning two of three games in the Junkanoo Jam in the Bahamas and winning their home opener against UMSL.
The Indiana State Swimming and Diving team traveled to the Morgan J. Burke Aquatic Center in West Lafayette for the Purdue Invitational, to score 186 points and beat McKendree University.
The Indiana State volleyball team closes out their 2019-2020 on two loses against Illinois State and Bradley University. The Sycamores ended the season with a record of 7-21 (5-13 in the Missouri Valley Conference).
Indiana State’s football team ended the season on Nov. 23 with a 51-24 win over the Missouri State Bears in Springfield, Missouri, leaving the Sycamores with a 5-7 record for the year.
On Nov. 23, Indiana State hosted the 2019 Division I Cross Country National Championships at the Lavern-Gibson Championship Cross Country Course in Terre Haute.
The Indiana State women’s basketball team defeated the Illinois-Chicago Flames 61-40 in Chicago. ISU evens their season record with the win, standing at 2-2. UIC remains winless with a 0-5 record.
Indiana State’s football season is coming to an end. Last week the Sycamores beat Youngstown State 24-17 in their last home game this season. Next, they to head to Springfield, Missouri to face Missouri State University. The MSU Bears are looking for their first home win of the season while Indiana State looks to improve to five wins to close out the year.
