Alexandria Truby is a senior from Terre Haute, Indiana. She is studying communication with a concentration in public relations. Outside of her work with the Indiana Statesman, she is the president of ISU’s PRSSA chapter, works around supercars at racetracks, and stays pretty busy. She has a passion for swimming, learning, being creative, and connecting with others. Being one of those live to work kind of people, Alexandria has many aspirations in life. She plans on earning her accreditation in public relations doing work with advertising and event planning, then sharing her experiences as a professor at a university.
To celebrate Disability Awareness Month, Indiana State University held an interactive workshop that discussed how disability is portrayed in the media.
