2019-2020 Indiana Statesman Staff

Rileigh McCoy is majoring in English with minors in communication (journalism) and creative writing. She has worked for the Indiana Statesman since her freshman year on campus, first as a reporter and then as news editor. She is a member of Gamma Phi Beta sorority. In her spare time, she watches a lot of Netflix and enjoys watching TikTok videos. She plans to pursue a career as a book editor in the publishing industry.

Alexandria Truby is from Terre Haute, Indiana. She is studying communication with a concentration in public relations. Outside of her work with the Indiana Statesman, she is the president of ISU’s PRSSA chapter, works around supercars at racetracks, and stays pretty busy. She has a passion for swimming, learning, being creative, and connecting with others. Being one of those live to work kind of people, Alexandria has many aspirations in life. She plans on earning her accreditation in public relations doing work with advertising and event planning, then sharing her experiences as a professor at a university.

Hannah Sullivan is majoring in Communication concentrating in Media Studies and Public Relations with a minor in coaching.  She is also the goalkeeper for the Women's Soccer team.  Hannah is also an active member of ESPN3, The Sycamore, and the Sycamore Leadership Academy.  She plans to attend graduate school at Ball State majoring in Public Relations, while coaching at Marian University.

Alyssa Bosse is from Elkhart, Indiana, studying communication with a concentration in journalism and a minor in marketing. When she is not involved with the Indiana Statesman, she is an active member of Alpha Phi sorority and is the social media director for Society of Professional Journalists. She plans to use her experience from the Statesman to help advance her goal of being a news reporter.

Rachel Modi is the opinions editor for the Indiana Statesman. She is double majoring in legal studies and psychology and hopes to attend law school after completing her undergraduate degree. She also serves as vice president of Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Fraternity, vice president of chapter relations and standards for Alpha Chi Omega, and is a senator for the legislative branch of the Student Government Association.

Danielle Guy is from Bloomington, Indiana, studying textiles, apparel and merchandising with a concentration in merchandising and a minor in business administration. She is the photo editor for the Indiana Statesman. She is also ISU’s National Retail Federation Ambassador. In summer 2019, she had an internship in New York City working for Ross Stores. She also has completed an internship with Haute Life magazine. She plans on working in the fashion industry as a buyer or planner after graduation.
