In a game that seemed only fitting as the season played out, the two seed Kansas City Chiefs and the one seed San Francisco 49ers faced off in Super Bowl 54. For the Chiefs, this game could be the start of a dynasty, as young quarterback Patrick Mahomes looks to be the face of the NFL for many years to come. While their head coach Andy Reid looked to snap the 21-year record for a head coach without a Super Bowl victory. For the 49ers, this win would be all too sweet. The historic franchise has won five super bowls, but have failed to hoist the Lombardi since 1995. Young, and arguably inexperienced, quarterback Jimmy Garappolo looking to prove himself and the huge contract he signed with the franchise.

The NBA trade deadline is always one of the most hectic times of the year for NBA fans and players alike. This season it means even more with both conferences being wide open for anyone to win. With many of the game’s stars switching teams in an instant it can be hard to keep up with every trade. Here is a recap of all of the major deals that went down at the deadline. It was a sunny but brisk forty-six-degree day in Terre Haute when the Indiana States football team took on Southern Illinois University at Memorial Stadium this past Saturday. The Salukis would leave the with a 23-14 win in what was a very even game on both sides of the ball. After today’s game, SIU now is the leader of the all-time head-to-head matchup between the two schools, earning their 29th win compared to ISU’s 28.
