Students taking the Gender Studies 450 class held their annual Take Back the Night March Wednesday evening. It’s an event that supports victims of sexual assault, gender violence, relationship violence, and stalking.

The Indiana State Sycamore basketball team got off to a hot start after the first seven weeks of the season in 2018.  The Sycamores improved to 8-3 after defeating UNLV, 84-79, on Dec. 23, at the Diamond Head Classic in Honolulu, Hawaii.  Sycamore point guard Harrison Barnes scored 28 points on 11-for-15 shooting in that game and was among the countries best three point shooters in terms of percentage.  After that game, the shooting struggles began for Barnes and the Sycamores did not win back-to-back games again.

Sticky Fingers is a reggae fusion/indie rock band formed in 2008 in Sydney, Australia. The band members consist of Dylan Frost (vocals/guitar), Seamus Coyle (lead guitar), Paddy Cornwall (bass), Beaker Best (drums), and Freddie Crabs (keys). The band’s first EP ‘Helping Hand’ in 2009, with the songs “Juicy Ones” and “Inspirational” which were recorded again for their next EP ‘Extended Play’ in 2010.

Travis had his biggest year in 2018, with the release of his long-awaited album ASTROWORLD (2018), which was nominated for multiple awards and has become certified double platinum. This is heavily acclaimed as his best album to date and the numbers sold as support.

Indiana State will face their biggest opponent left on the schedule this Saturday, taking on the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls. While both teams were 3-3 on October 12, each team has gone opposite directions. ISU is looking to break their three-game losing, and UNI is looking to extend their winning streak to four games. If ISU is wanting to finish the season at .500, they will have to win this game against a tough Panther squad.
