Center for Community Engagement’s Stop N Serve was held in the Hulman Memorial Student Union yesterday at noon. This popular event brings a perfect opportunity for students to make other people happy.

Ever since his American Idol debut, Adam Lambert has had a special place in my heart. That is why when I found out that he had released a new EP, Velvet: Side A, I was more than willing to travel down memory lane. With a funky '70s rock sound, Adam Lambert created a 6-song EP that would be perfect for an outdoor concert with our recent October weather.

Sobremesa is the Spanish tradition of relaxing after a full meal, usually after dessert. Dede 2 in the Hulman Memorial Student Union offered this tradition to students and faculty, promoting the Spanish language to experienced or unexperienced Spanish speakers.

Indiana State returns to Memorial Stadium to try to get back to five-hundred on the season and in conference play in the 2019 season after an extremely abysmal outing last Saturday versus Missouri Valley Conference foe South Dakota. Losing 38-0, ISU looks to get back to what they do well and prevail against the Leathernecks from Macomb, Illinois. With Western Illinois being winless so far this year, a hungry team will be coming to Terre Haute as the underdogs, hoping to take down the Sycamores. With both teams coming off of losses but of different calibers both will be trying to reset this week and get their minds right for the sixth game of the season.

In a controversial but long-awaited comeback, Ameer Vann has returned with EP EMMANUEL to tell an emotional story of self-loathing, pain, and regret. After being kicked out of popular boyband BROCKHAMPTON due to multiple negative allegations, many have wondered when, and if, Ameer Vann would be seen in the music scene again. While there are many opinions surrounding Vann’s conduct, this review will be focused on his music, and how he has chosen to tell his story through this new six-song release.
