WISU and the Boys And Girls Club
WISU’s Music Director, Robert Richards recently gave his time and volunteered at the local boys and girls club. Coach Richards had one goal from the moment he signed up to coach. That goal was to get Elijah, Kale, Josh, Ryan, Joey, Jacob, Isaac H, and Isaac R to believe in themselves and that they could win the boys and girls club basketball championship. The team was able to accomplish that goal finishing with a 7-5 record and winning the basketball championship. This was Coach Richards first year coaching and he was quoted as saying “This team was awesome and I look forward to coaching again in the near future.” WISU and Coach Richards hope to next year maybe sponsor a team and continue giving back to the local community.
