Green bay Packers week 2

On Sunday September 18th the Bears and the Packers battled it out in their legendary rivalry, this time at Lambeau field. The Packers were able to get the win with a final score of 27-10.

“I still own you” Something Aaron Rodgers said to a Chicago Bears crowd at Soldier Field almost a year ago. Rodgers elaborated on this with a good performance against the bears once again. Rodgers had a lost fumble and was sacked three times, but he threw 19/25 for 234 yards and two touchdowns. Rodgers wasn’t the only Aaron playing good Sunday though. Aaron Jones had 15 carries for 132 yards with a rushing touchdown. Jones didn’t stop there, he also had 3 catches for 38 yards with a receiving touchdown.

The Packers are still missing Davante Adams who they traded to the Raiders in the off season. Green Bay hasn’t had a receiver have over 100 yards in a game so far this season. Sammy Watkins stepped up Sunday with 3 catches, which was tied for the team high in the game, and had 93 yards which was the team high.

With a week two win the Packers improve to 1-1. After a tough week one loss to division rivals the Minnesota Vikings, this was a good bounce back for Green Bay. Next week the Packers will travel to Tampa Bay to battle the Buccaneers with a 4:25 pm EST kickoff.
